Anna is a costume designer based on the East Coast. They have a versatile design style but enjoy opportunities where they can engage in in-depth character design and collaborate with actors to bring their ideas about the characters into show’s visual aesthetic. Anna is also passionate about costume crafts, especially maskmaking, and tends to take a hands-on approach to the fabrication of their designs. Their work is often inspired by absurdist and surreal art and they enjoy creating theatre that embraces experimentation.

Anna graduated from Emerson College with a degree in Theatre Design and Production with a concentration in Costume Design. In college Anna was on the board of emShakes Theatre Company, an organization dedicated to “shaking up the classics,” and seeks to create classical theatre that speaks to the experiences of queer people and POC.
