This hat was intended to present a combination of Hedy Lamarr and Uncle Sam
I designed these patches with a velcro backing so they could be switched out between the two presidential blazers we painted
The bases of the assassins' buttons were intended to represent each of them visually; Booth and Guiteau's are more ornate, Moore's is purposefully messy and asymmetrical, and Czolgosz's is primarily denim to represent his working class background
Each president had their own aesthetic for their rally buttons; the 19th century ones are more ornate
Button inspired by one Travis Bickle (John Hinkley Jr.'s real life fashion inspiration) wears in the movie "Taxi Driver"
