Cow Mask and Costume for Gypsy
Southeast Summer Theatre Institute, Summer ‘24
The base of the mask was built by the show's costume designer, then was passed onto me
I filled the inside with a layer of plastic wrap then stuffed the mask to give it shape
The first few layers were paper mache, then I moved onto plaster
The original pattern for the mask, which I used to cut out the cow print fabric for its "skin"
